JTEDCS1 DC Shuttle Controller

 

The JTEDCS1 test layout in action using two JTEILD infra-red sensors to detect the train.

 

JTEDCS1 indicator LED's. The two left-hand LED's show sensor input detection which may be useful in diagnosing sensor activation issues. The two right-hand LED's show track power control.

 

A closeup view of the JTEILD infra-red sensor detecting the passing objects. The locomotive is black so is difficult to detect at this range, a few centimeters closer to the sensor and the black locomotive is detected better - like having the sensor mounted under the track is close enough! The white railcars are detected effortlessly at this range.
